| 1. Ostrich & Exotic Animal Farm |
 |
Our hosts, Wayne, Kristi and Kati, established this wondrous animal
kingdom in 1997. Thousands of visitors enjoy their narrated/walking tour of their farm. Over the years they have provided a home to a baby tiger, baby camel, Patagonian cavies and a new "featured" animal every year. Delicious ostrich sticks and collectable ostrich eggshells are available. |

2. Stavkirke Church
The unique architecture of the stave church (or “stavkirke” in Norwegian) emerged in the 11th century, blending ancient Norse tradition with Christianity. The Island Stavkirke, built and dedicated in 1995, was named among the Top 10 Great
Places with International Flair by USA Today. This structure
was constructed by island craftsmen under the guidance of
the Trinity Lutheran Church. |

3. The Farm Museum
Buildings and implements from the 1880s were used by the early settlers to establish farming as one of the major occupations. From the Pioneer Cabin to the Double Log Barn, you’ll be transported back in time.
The Farm Museum is a non-profit Wisconsin corporation and donations are warmly appreciated. |

4. Schoolhouse Beach
Located in Washington Harbor, on the northern coast of Washington Island, Schoolhouse Beach received its name from the early islanders whose children attended the school
by the water. This deepest of island harbors had piers for ships bringing early visitors to this community. This beach has unique, distinctive all white limestone rocks. Created by nature and now carefully preserved by law, please...do not remove these precious stones |
